We have brown and white chickens, and therefore brown and white eggs. This does not affect the quality of the egg at all. There is not even a difference in the eggs, except for the color of the shell. You will mostly get both in one carton, depending on how the ladies are laying.
Quantity:
Our chickens free-range in their own fenced yard, with modifications to keep them safe. Among other predators, we have plenty of hawks that like to watch them. Probably not for fun. With supervision, they get to roam the backyard on nice days. They get layer pellets, corn, and lots of our vegetables as feed. They are happy hens.
